Terms of Service

These terms apply to the Etsy Customer Service AI Bot Chrome extension and msgassistant.com (the "service"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. Questions: contact@msgassistant.com.

The service

The service writes draft replies to your Etsy customers with the help of artificial intelligence. It never sends a message for you: you review every draft and decide what to send. AI can make mistakes - you are responsible for the messages you send, for following Etsy's policies, and for the promises you make to your customers.

Your account

Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what is done with your account. One account per person or shop.

Free messages and plans

• Every new account gets 30 free messages. One message is one AI reply (a reply, a decline, a regenerate, a shorter or longer version, a grammar fix or an improvement).
• Paid plans are monthly subscriptions: 100 messages for $2.99, 500 for $6.99, 1,000 for $13.99 and 10,000 for $99.99 a month (prices in US dollars; taxes may apply). A plan renews automatically every month until you cancel it. A plan started free with a promotion code (no card asked) ends by itself when the free month does.
• A plan's messages start over at every renewal; unused messages do not carry over. Messages your account had before its first plan are kept and used after the month's messages.
• Message packs (50 messages for $2.99) are one-time purchases, with or without a plan. Their messages never expire and are used after a plan's messages.
• You can change or cancel your plan at any time under Account, Manage billing. A cancelled plan keeps working until the end of the month you paid for. When you switch plans in the middle of a month, our payment provider adjusts the charge for the rest of the month.
• Payments are non-refundable, except where the law requires otherwise.
• We may change prices; a new price applies from your next renewal after we tell you about it.

Fair use

Do not use the service to send spam, to harass anyone, for anything unlawful, or in a way that breaks Etsy's rules, and do not try to get around the message limits or to disrupt the service. We may suspend accounts that do.

Availability and liability

We work to keep the service running but cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost sales.

Changes

We may update these terms; we will update the date above and tell you about important changes.
